Wow just uploaded a new video to YouTube. I had a lot of fun making it, and learned a lot about my new video editing software, Sony Vegas.
This will be the first HD video I've uploaded to YouTube, so I hope it turns out okay! I shot the video with my new HD Canon camera. Its a Vixia HV30 and I love it!
The video is a parody of those travel commercials you see on TV. I thought it would be funny if I made one about my home town Crab Orchard Ky. I know it would never get a real travel video, it is such a small town. I think there are less than 1,000 people living there.
The video features my cousin James Hendrickson, my nephew Devin Richmond, my dad Ansel Petrey, my sister Marie Richmond, and one of my dads friends named "Bud". I don't know his real name. He is kinda quite.

A video I made a while ago, and never got around to uploading it. I hope you like it. My sister is in it, she is playing Guitar Hero on the Wii, and my Nephew is the one shouting strange phrases from the bathroom.

So I was shipping things out that I sold on ebay the other day, and I noticed that one of my hairs got stuck between the tape, and mailing envelope. Instead of trying to remove it, and fearing that someone would try and clone me. I just wrote them a little note above the hair with permanent marker. You can see it in the picture below. Aren’t I just so clever! My dog Jackie's hair gets stuck to the tape all the time, and there is no way to avoid it, because she pretty much just has free roam of the house. I would say that her DNA goes to a lot more places than mine. Maybe she has a clone out there somewhere! You can find pictures of her on my Flickr page. It finally snowed enough today, to actually cover the ground! It reminded me of those goofy movies you see, where theres a group of people trapped in some secluded place, like the mountains, with no food, and the main character writes in his journal very dramatically about it. So I decided to make a video like that. Take something going on around me, like it snowing a little outside, and really dramatize the situation. I think it turned out pretty good, and I had fun making it, so I might do another one like this one later, if you all like this one.
