Went to the fair last night and had a great time! Although It did start out kinda rocky. We were supposed to go with my friend Mila (@PhasersOnStun) and her husband Ben, but they chickened out because it was raining. So me, my nephew and my friend West (@seraphdragon) went anyway. I was expecting them to have everything shutdown, but everything was running as usual. The only ride that was closed was the Bumper Cars and even it opened back up later in the night.
Fortunately it wasn't really raining that much after we got there. It just kind of sprinkled all-night, which felt kind of nice. Usually it's super hot this time of the year, and you always get baked at the fair.
We rode a lot of the rides but my favorite is still the Freak Out! I only got to ride it once because the line was so long! It definitely was the big attraction.
I brought my new Canon HV30 and got some nice footage of everything, including the Freak Out. You just have to see the Freak Out in action to understand how cool it is!

Looking forward to going to the fair today. I'm taking my nephew to the local Lincoln County Fair. Its a really nice fair, and has lots of great rides. My friend West is also going, and maybe my friend Mila as well - she is still undecided because she went last night.

I did not go last year so I'm really looking forward to it, it is supposed to rain so I hope it is over before the fair starts!

I'll be sure and post some pictures to Twitter for you all -I hope they have good cell reception at the fair grounds! I wish I had an iPhone 3GS to take with me, it would be great to post some videos to YouTube while I'm at the fair, but oh well!
