So I got some hermit crabs from the local pet store. I started out with one, and then found out that they are very social, and that they get depressed without a buddy, so I got another one. The second one I got is a lot more active than the first one, and they seem to get along very well. I even caught them talking to one another one night (they make strange chirping noises). I stated out with just a 10 gal. tank, and then found out my friend had a 55 gal. just setting around, going to waste so we decided to turn it into a giant crab habitat! I’m still working on it, but its looking good, and the crabs seem to love it. I’m even building a waterfall for them LOL! This all started out as a nice, little, cheap pet, but has turned into an obsession with me. When I go to the store, I find my self in the pets section, more than the electronics section anymore. I think there really cool pets, and I’m going to get some more, because evidently, the more the merrier with hermit crabs.
